At Ragaaz Music Academy, we focus on building foundation of Hindustani Classical Music in which the lessons are imparted in a traditional Guru-Shishya parampara. Students are taught to observe discipline and patience in the classical singing classes. Workshops by professional artists are conducted frequently in the subjects like vocals building, voice modulation techniques, riyaz methodologies which helps every singer tremendously. Every student can see the graph of progress as they subject themselves to this disciplined regime.
This course can be taken by beginners as well as advance level students from the age group 6yrs and above.

Theory: (Oral Exam- 25 Marks)

- Detail information of different Ragas- Their time of singing, mail swaras, styles in which it can be sung etc.
- Character Sketch of Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar
Practical: (75 marks)
- Singing different ragas along with their aarosh, Avroh in different tempo/laya
- Ragas for PP-2

This is where the formal certification starts. If the students are prepared enough they can directly appear for First year exam and bypass PP-1 and PP-2

- Detailed definition of advanced terminologies in music like- Naad, Shruti, Saptalk, Taal, Jaati etc.
- Detailed information of each Raga
- Introduction to Sargam Geet and Lakshan Geet
- Identifying Ragas by looking into the notation combinations
Practical: (100 marks)
- Alankar in shudha (Major) and komal (Minor) swaras
- Singing Ragas with their Alaap, Taan and in different tempo- Dugun /Chowgun

- State difference between Thaat-Raga, Shruti-Swara, Taan- Alaap, Naad- Shruti etc.
- Two methods of notations in details- Bhatkhande and Paluskar
- Types of Songs- Dhrupad, Khyal, Tarana, Sargam Geet, Lakshan Geet
- Similarities and differentiation factors of different Ragas.
- Writing notations of different types of songs as per Bhatkhande pattern
- Biography of- Miya Taansen, Pt. Vishnu Naryan Bhatkhande, Aamir Khusro

Sangeet Bhushan Final
At the end of this year the students will be awarded grade of ‘Sangeet Bhushan’.
Theory: (Written Exam- 50 Marks)
- Complete understanding of how Ragas are created from different Thaats , origin of 72 Thaats and creation of 484 Ragas from these Thaats
- Understanding of Ragas based on their time of singing, rationale for Raga timing, different embellishments (Gamak) and their usage in Ragas

- Comparative study of different Ragas
- Notation writing for Dhrupad and Dhamar in Thah, Dugun, Tigun, and Chowgun
