APARNA BHATTACHARYA
Her belief in the creative power of music and need for establishing a ‘grooming ground’ for every artist lead her to conceptualize RagaazTM. An Engineering graduate and Masters in Business Administration, she is an experienced educationist and trained in Hindustani music. Ragaaz is her brainchild – A carefully crafted musical dream which is fulfilling dreams of many. When not working you will otherwise find this happy soul reading philosophy or just playing with little children.
TEJAS KALRA
Co-founder and Creative Head of Ragaaz Studios, this acclaimed cinematographer and professional photographer is the key architect behind Ragaaz Production House and delivery of the very popular “Jam Sessions”. Instrumental in building artist profiles and artist management, he brings innovation in all endeavors of Ragaaz. When not compelled by work at any hour of the day, you may find him learning something new every time or just playing drums.
ASHISH AGRAHARI
Music is life for this young classical teacher. An accomplished singer from the Kirana Gharana, he is not just a stellar performer but also a beloved teacher at Ragaaz, guiding students aged 5 to 65. If left unattended, you might hear high-class classical singing seeping from his classroom doors or witness him devising new, customized methods that elevate his teaching curriculum—something for which he is widely praised by his followers.
JUNAID HASAN KHAN
This young, talented Ragaaz teacher carries the prestigious legacy of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana and is the great-grandson of Ustad Mushtaq Hussain Khan, the first Padma Bhushan and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient. Trained by family legends like Padma Shri Ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan, Junaid embraces this legacy with great responsibility and passion, dedicated to passing it on to his students.
SATENDER VERMA
Satender Verma, a remarkable Hindustani vocalist from the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana, brings over a decade of performance and teaching experience. A Guinness World Record holder for participating in a 1000+ musician ensemble, he has a Master’s in Hindustani Classical Music and Visharad in Hindustani vocals. Known for his compassionate demeanor, Satender imparts the power of music to his students and is a cherished member of Ragaaz.
BLESSING NEWMAI
Blessing Newmai is a multi-instrumentalist and an ardent Vocalist. He also an acomplished Choir Director having been directed church choirs as well as Rock & Pop choirs. He has successfully written and composed original songs. Known for his regimented teaching style, he knows how to bring best out of his students. When he is not teaching you will find him listening to different genre of music or writing his own compositions.
WIKHIM T R
Wikhim is passionate and dedicated musician who loves teaching and mentoring the budding musicians. Highly experienced in vocal sculpting and voice building. Driven by a desire to create music that inspires and connects with others. A performer, mentor and a vibrant team member of Ragaaz
JUAK GANGMEI
An accomplished musician and grade 8 Trinity Guitarist Juak is one of the brightest team members of Ragaaz. Known for his highly technical teaching techniques and versatility, Juak can instill passion in every student who comes to him. Working with well known artists and bands Juak is an expert in different genre ranging from rock to slow, soulful melodies, hard riff and so on. More than 10yrs of experience in music instruction and music theory.
SIVANAPALLI ABHIRAM
Abhiram, a music educator and performer with over ten years of experience, inspires students to explore various musical styles. Specializing in rock, alternative rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and guitar-based classical fusion, he fosters unique styles for personal growth. Abhiram has notable achievements, including performing at Parliament House on Lok Sabha Day. He is a valued member of Ragaaz, spreading quality music, passion, and joy.
T R ARIAKLIU
Young, vibrant, and ever-smiling Ariak is one of the youngest teachers at Ragaaz, with over six years of teaching experience. She is a favorite among both young and adult students. Certified in piano instruction, Ariak enjoys experimenting with various genres but excels in Classical Blues. Her methodical approach emphasizes strong technical skills and dynamic playing, making her a dedicated and effective educator.
JAKHINBE JISHING
Jakhinbe, a drummer since age 8, embraces music as a healing force. He emphasizes in-depth technical knowledge in drumming, advocating the philosophy that music is everywhere. Specializing in rock and heavy metal, he also enjoys playing jazz and blues. Jakhinbe is a vibrant member of the Ragaaz team.
